Adjustable lens pioneers Adlens to build entire
management system around Singlepoint |
It was a humbling experience to meet the team at Adlens earlier in 2008. Their adjustable lens spectacles
have already provided thousands of people in the third world with vision correction that can quite literally
change lives – all in the space of a few minutes.
It’s possibly also true to say that Adlens were pretty impressed with Singlepoint™ as they have selected our
software to build their entire quality management system around. Rob Stevens, Managing Director, put it
this way “The major attraction to Singlepoint™ is the flexibility and the fact that documents can be
controlled and also combined with other key business processes being managed by the system. We have
also been very impressed with the Syncronology team and think we’ll get an excellent service from them”.
Initially, Singlepoint™ will be used to manage change, issues and documents but it’s clear that following
their first training session more and more possibilities are coming into play.
Also key to the Adlens team’s objectives is to integrate Singlepoint™ with their ERP system and that fact
that Singlepoint™ is based in a SQL database environment was a key factor in their decision to implement
the tool.
