Singlepoint goes LIVE at R-Tek |
Sunderland based Nissan supplier R-Tek is ditching its manual engineering change process in favour of a
fully automated approach in Singlepoint™.
In the classic scenario that we see over and over again, printed documents were doing the rounds from
one department to another causing a drag on people’s time and efficiency.
The first task was to identify the various types of change they could potentially face. Once that was done,
a series of departmental checklists was configured for the various change scenarios. Key implementation
dates, customer approval and all associated documents are all handled and captured within the
Singlepoint™ process.
The team at R-Tek are keen to investigate Singlepoint™ for other potential processes such as Program
Management, Concerns Management and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
We look forward to working with R-Tek in the coming month and years and to bringing you all further
updates on the roll out as it progresses.
